Description: Xolrethe (AKA "The Bloodhaired One") was once as he tends to say… just 'a mere human', however everything changed when he was approached by the ever-elusive council of 'elans'. After the transformation he found himself literally brimming with power they called 'psionics'. Thanks to the extensive tutelage of the very first elan named 'Arethe' the young one soon discovered his latent talents for psychometabolism… With a twist of fate here and there around 100 years later he achieved the pinnacle of his favored discipline, along the path of both undead and aberration hunter - especially useful for the council as most of its more prominent adversaries were either unliving or unnatural… or in some cases both.

After many bouts with various aberrant horrors the council finally met a group that would give her pause… an unusual cabal composed of Illithidae, Aboleths and Tsochari. It was clear that something was amiss… and soon the council's Slayer detachment learned of the existence of a being powerful enough to enforce its will on the aberrations. The conflict entered then a state of a proxy-war when the both sides involved started using 3rd parties to against each other.

This is where the most recent accounts on the elan's existence fade away… 5 thousand year-old accounts in fact.

In the end the council decided that it would be better to feign their defeat and then proceed with analyzing the gathered data… in order to create a viable counter to their opponents' tactics… In the meantime Xolrethe was assigned mainly infiltration missions… much to a chagrin of the still quite human-like, in mind at least, elan.

After another century he grew tired of the council's methods… and began to collaborate secretly with one of the 3rd-parties controlled by the enemy. Together with them he started what later become known as D.E.I.M.O.S project. With some clever use of his shapechanging mastery the elan become the first … and the last subject of the procedure.

In order to make the latter true he used his authority within Slayers to eradicate the now-former 'allies', however after returning from the mission he soon got into conflict with the council which banished him - seeing that Xolrethe was not an elan anymore both in body and mind as he become consumed by his unquenchable quest for power.
