Appearance:
Umbra looks like a standard-looking dark/light gray wolf.
Personality:
Generally, she'll be a little more "out there" than Mike when dealing with people.
Background:
Umbra used to be Mike's animal companion (and an ordinary wolf at that) until he was changed into a kaorti during one mission. Umbra retained Mike's soul, though, so now she has his powers (even after he was revived).
Currently, you might see her walk around Dragonport occasionally.

Membership: Leader of the Poker Dogs.

• Umbra retains her physical ability scores (Strength, Dexterity, Constitution), her bite attack, her base land speed, Scent, and her base natural armor.
• Umbra loses all the class features of the animal companion.
• Umbra gains Mike's mental ability scores (Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma), and is now a Battle Sorcerer with Mike's former hit dice.
• Umbra keeps all of Mike's stuff, XP and GP. She also has all tomes used by either character.
• Umbra gains the racial benefits of a human (bonus feat, +1 skill rank per level).
• Their spell, skill and feat lists were overhauled.
• Umbra cannot be targeted by humanoid-targeting spells.
