A whisper gnome gang in Dragonport Swampside, influential in the poorest, more swampy districts.

The Wolverines offer protection to poor Swampside residents, in exchange not for money but for food and drugs easier to grow in the warm and damp swamp. They do not attack those who stop supplying but withdraw their protection and leave them more vulnerable than before.

Those who get on the wrong side of the Wolverines are often found floating dead in the water. They are unfriendly towards reptilian or scaled humanoids of any variety (though of course, particularly kobolds).

Despite a lack of money, the Wolverines have access to many minor magical items. They are willing to work as assassins so long as the target isn't under their protection, or work as scouts for those who they owe a favor.

Knowledge Local DC 30

The Wolverines are a cult of the Glutton, and obtain their magical items by the ritual sacrifice of their enemies.

Judging by the quality of their magic items, they are able to make at least DC 60 Knowledge(Religion) checks on these sacrifices. (400gp items are common, maximum possible value is 600gp. Scroll or wondrous.)

Regrettably for those members whose knives were stolen, none of the knives were returned, owing to Orden's unwillingness to compensate the party for them.
