Description

The 'Whisperer' seems to be a some kind of alien psionic entity, which was somehow bound to the mind of Altharid's. Its origin is not really clear, the same being true for its motives, however so far it provided our (anti)hero with various insights about the ways in which he could manipulate his body and mind in order to unlock more of his seemingly untapped mental potential.
What might be unsettling for Altharid is the fact that the entity seems to be gaining more willpower with every passing day… even if it is doing so in small steps he is not eager to risk losing control of his mind should it become a dominant force within him (at least unlike the Hungerer the being does not appear to be openly hostile).
In order to ensure that none such thing would happen Altharid keeps researching a way of sealing 'the Whisperer' in some kind of a vessel.

Altharid will seal the 'Whisperer' in the form of his psicrystal at ecl 5 (via erudite dip). DONE
This particular psicrystal might see some extensive use during this module.
The beings itself is a result of the original Altharid's faulty manifestation of mind-seed, in fact the character currently known as 'Altharid' is derived from Subject No 22.
