DESCRIPTION
The sprawling country sized swamp that sits next to Dragonport. Fed by warm spring the swamp is always hot as a bath despite the cool climate of the region. Snakes, crocodiles, lizardmen, and Yuan-ti all inhabit the swamp in huge numbers making it extremely dangerous. Nobody has even managed to make it into the heart of the swamp due to its myriad dangers - but there are rumored to be whole cities of lizardmen ruled by Yuan-ti Kings whose palaces are made of solid gold.
There are many valuable plants, pearls, even gold here along with its dangers.
LAND FEATURES
Hive Complex - An abandoned research complex used as a Hive base of operations and research.
First Star's Sting - A village of poison dusk lizardfolk, who have a blood feud with The Wolverines owing to an old alliance pact with the kobold servants of a draconic presence … under? … the swamp.
Forgotten Fields - In the moors a patch of Stygian pumpkins grow, serving as food for the tribes of forestkith goblins that live there. The waters of the area are mixed with water brought from the Styx, and slowly wear at the memories, making escape a bit difficult at times. Visitors find intentional return nearly impossible, and the area is difficult to scry upon.
Fortress of Saridor - Small Fortress to the east of the Serpent Mire, populated by group of Hobgoblins venerating Saridor.
Bluutsvilaar's Lair - The watery adobe of the great black wyrm that leads the Blackscale Lizardfolk.
