You can combine both of the presented variants.

CLASS FEATURES
All of the following are class features of the mind blade ranger specialty levels. Please note that some class features are altered or changed, but those class features not noted as changed here are still in effect.

Variant AMind Blade Combat Style

Combat Style (Ex): At 2nd level, a mind blade ranger gains access to the mind blade combat style. This affects the character’s class features but does not restrict his selection of feats or special abilities in any way. The mind blade ranger is treated as if he has the Form Mind Blade feat, even if he does not have the normal prerequisites for that feat. The benefits of the ranger’s chosen style apply only when he >wears light or no armor. He loses all benefits of his combat style when wearing medium or heavy armor. This replaces the rangers normal combat style.

Improved Combat Style (Ex): At 6th level, a mind blade ranger’s aptitude with his mind blade combat style improves. He is treated as if he has the Hunters Blade feat, even if he does not have the normal prerequisites for that feat. As before, the benefits of the ranger’s chosen style apply only when he wears light or no armor. He loses all benefits of his combat style when wearing medium or heavy armor. This replaces the rangers normal improved combat style.

Combat Style Mastery (Ex): At 11th level, a mind blade ranger’s aptitude with his mind blade combat style improves again. He is treated as having the Bladewind feat, even if he does not have the normal prerequisites for that feat. As before, the benefits of the ranger’s chosen style apply only when he wears light or no armor. He loses all benefits of his combat style when wearing medium or heavy armor. This replaces the rangers normal combat style mastery.

Variant BSpell-less Ranger

Mind Blade Focus: At 4th level, a mind blade ranger gains a free mind blade feat (or the Form Mind Blade feat if he hasn’t taken it yet). A mind blade ranger must still meet all prerequisites for the bonus feat. This replaces the rangers ability to cast spells of the 1st level; from this point he can never learn or cast any 1st level spell from the ranger class list.

Bonus Feat: At 8th level, a mind blade ranger gains an additional mind blade feat as a bonus feat (or the Form Mind Blade feat if he hasn’t taken it yet). This replaces the ranger’s ability to cast spells of the 2nd level; from this point he can never learn or cast any 2nd level spell from the ranger class list.

Bonus Feat: At 12th level, a mind blade ranger gains an additional mind blade feat as a bonus feat (or the Form Mind Blade feat if he hasn’t taken it yet). This replaces the ranger’s ability to cast spells of the 3rd level; from this point he can never learn or cast any 3rd level spell from the ranger class list.

Bonus Feat: At 14th level, a mind blade ranger gains an additional mind blade feat as a bonus feat (or the Form Mind Blade feat if he hasn’t taken it yet). This replaces the ranger’s ability to cast spells of the 4th level; from this point he can never learn or cast any 4th level spell from the ranger class list.

Form Mind Blade: At 2nd level, a mind blade rogue gains the Form Mind Blade feat, regardless of prerequisites. If the mind blade rogue already has the Form Mind Blade feat, he may choose any other mind blade feat, but he must still meet all prerequisites for the feat. This replaces the rogue’s evasion class feature. The mind blade rogue also loses access to improved evasion as one of her choices for special abilities.
