DESCRIPTION:
One of the major noble houses of Khierna. Even before the kingdom was known as such its members were fighting with the house d'Grimmoir for the favor of -at time- the future monarch, the 1st king of the domain. The rivalry started in academic environments but later it spread like wildfire throughout both groups and lethal arcane duels between them became not an uncommon sight. Before a full-blown circle of vendettas would engulf the realm the kingdom was founded and the monarch chose the house's rivals to serve as his court members, much to the chagrin and dismay of d'Libellules.
For centuries the house lived in the shadow of their old adversaries, trying to offset the shortcomings of their individual arcanists with ritual magic and sheer strength in numbers.
When 'suddenly' d'Grimmoirs were exiled… they took the vacant position within moments.
