Investigating that oily scent
After some thought, Frozt finally decides to investigate that oily scent that showed up everywhere early on in his career. He knows it could be a red herring, or it could lead to a flat-out suicide mission, and he has no idea what he'll do once he finds out what it is, but he doesn't care.
- Frozt gets all the items Rick Dodger and Airy gave him, he'll probably need every last one.
- He tells Umbra and Mike that if he doesn't come back after a week and anyone looks for him, they should tell them he's dead. They weren't sure how to respond to this, but they gave him that Hat of Disguise they apparently had lying around at the start of the Doomcape/Darnten arc.
- He doesn't get help from anyone else so he doesn't have to be concerned about their lives, reputations or schedules, only his own.
Disguised as a normal large dog, Frozt starts searching the entirety of Dragonport for that trail so he can follow it again. He expects to not find anything no matter how thoroughly he looks, but fortunately he has no timetables to deal with, so he can do this for as long as he needs to. (He'll also be returning to the Poker Dogs' place every week or so if it takes that long for him to find anything.)
