So, I was looking at making a character using the Advanced Template (which really seems most useful for characters that need a LOT of decent ability scores) when a thought came to mind: How would you roleplay it on a humanoid? To quote the text concerning it: "Creatures with the advanced template are fiercer and more powerful than their ordinary cousins." This is a little vague, which I'm sure was the intention, and it obviously wasn't meant to be used by humanoid creatures. So, if a typical humanoid creature has this template - say an elf, a dwarf, a human, or a gnome -, how would you roleplay that? Would that character simply be very gifted? (Perhaps not by much, as you're effectively losing 22 points to gain 24 points and 2 natural AC unless you're super-buffing an ability.) Would you change the roleplay at all? Would you simply say "This character has tough skin", or maybe "This character is a bit feral?"
I realize I'll probably get a dozen answers here and there isn't a "correct" one (unless the people in charge say otherwise), but it's good to know how people think this template should be roleplayed.
