- Please do not whisper to me when I'm GMing. I find that other PCs can generally answer questions, and it slows my flow down if I have to tab to another whisper tab.
- Combat tends to be real life timed for actions, for example, you'd generally have 5 minutes real life to post an action… Don't do so? Lost it. Post an invalid one? Lost as well. This is mainly when we have larger groups as I can't predict every build, nor do I want too, but you should have an idea what your own character can do.
- Post combat, skill checks, or similar as the attack roll and damage roll in the same post… or relevant save and effect… in the same post. This prevents scrolling which makes logs very messy for later.
- Rule 0, while rarely used in my games, as to not slow down play for others, will be a kick first, then explanation afterwards. Generally speaking, anything that trivializes another PC's usefulness will fall into this category. Single handedly defeating the BBEG without any party help, level breaking tricks, action economy breaking tricks, being invulnerable or nigh invulnerable, having so much wealth or items that you aren't in scale to the other PCs, etc.
I hope none of these are unreasonable, please respond with a post if you agree to the above terms of usage. I want to spend the few minutes before a game so that we'll save a lot of time in game.
