(OOC: Due to multiple requests to buy stuff In Character, I'm putting this up for people who want Balt to make them stuff. He can make CL 9 Scrolls, Potions, Wondrous Items, Magical Armor and Weapons, and Wands. He can also make literally any masterwork item and any alchemical item. The standard purchase price for everything is half of the base price, so a Handy Haversack would be 1000gp instead of 2000gp.)
Baltasar and Griswol shake hands, finalizing the arrangement. Pulling out a few coins, Balt hands them to the innkeeper and says, "And here's the first month's payment. Good doing business with you."
Griswol nods and grunts, taking the money and sign Baltasar hands him. Placing the sign carefully on a prominent shelf behind the bar, he clears some containers away so it can be read more easily. Inscribed in bold lettering on a matte-polished sheet of metal reads, "Malich Inventions and Alchemy. Leave orders or contact information in writing with the bartender."
