Wikidot Websites with features worth copying

I've found a few websites with coding and features I thought were really interesting.

At the bottom it lists recent posts from the forum, the forum tag thing is quite interesting

The way of displaying characters is very nice and elegant. It has some nice coding for displaying character information I really want to get a hold of this

The format is nice here as well. Very enticing!

SoftInsanity and I have made some progress on a character template. Soft, how did you make that new template that fast? Were you able to join their wiki and copy the formatting or something?

People are free to play around with these concepts before they are finalized. Our goal is to make a standard template for new characters.

I don't learn that fast. I will start working editing these based on our own rules. I really don't like all the formatting on these templates. They are a good starting place however.

All done. Just have to update the template further.

I'd love to get individual character pages to have a huge background with the character portrait. Not sure on how to do that yet.

As it stands, these character pages are better than most of the online sheets. They just require more diligence.

edit: I would need admin privileges to edit the css file. I will let you guys do that if you wish. It might be a good idea to not even bother with it due to some people having slow computers.

I can give temporary admin privileges that won't be a problem. As far as the template goes, I like my table to the right better. I think there was a lot of unnecessary information in the Therafim tables. Having to scroll down to find out information seems unnecessary to me.

Also, I'd like the Character Description and History on the first tab rather than the pictures. We go to a page to learn about the character first and foremost, everything else is extra clicks.

It appears that the new template will cover so many variables that… the requirement for online sheets may become… obsolete (?). Was that your intention Bill ?
