Is there code for rolling dice with a forum post? If not, why not?

I think having a way to role on the forum is a very good idea. For example, a very boring roll for a DM, is making sure a wizard (say ME) actually makes the roll for learning a new spell to put in their (her) spellbook. This is probably NOT something a DM wants to get on line to do for one person for 5 minutes and then leave. With some kind of automated rolling that can be linked to the character log (which of course is already implimented) A DM could then AUDIT a character with out actually having to be present during all rolls. Again, if this is already implimented, could someone put the link here, so that anyone seeing this post can find the actual rule.

In the same vein as the first post, there IS a website called Invisible Castle that could be used. The benefits to using it is that it already has code up and running, designed for easy verification of remote dice rolls. The downside is that when its down, its DOWN, and also if they change how the code works, well, we (well, YOU) don't have any control over that, or over changing it back. But it would be better than nothing. Of course you have to join the site, but its free and not hard

Oh my GOD, you either really do have the worst luck ever, or the algorythm is Fu…er…MESSED up! Maybe Invisible Castle isn't the best idea. Someone else know of a better one? I know the Tangled Web forum has dice rolling code that seems to work, we could always link to posts there or something.

((I'm sorry if I'm being too pushy, it just seems like this is being set up so that you'll actually use input from members. If I'm overstepping my place, let me know, cause this was the most fun I've had in a virtual tabletop game yet))

It seems that Wikidot already has a site for rolling dice. You may use this one for forum posts and it seems rather easy.
