If you click on the files tab. There is an option to upload images. Use this to upload your character pictures, then take that link and use that as the image link for your character. As long as your image doesn't take a ridiculous amount of KB, then there's no reason to link it anywhere else

Note, you should first create a character page, and then upload the image to that character page itself. It's possible to load images other places on the site and then link from there, but then it gets hard to keep track of where files are stored, best to just keep everything uploaded on the page that it's used.

Uploading didn't function properly for me for unknown reasons, so I'm going to have to keep linking to it for now. Hopefully if I make one myself it will work better.
