Wanna request the ability to buy items using the rules in http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/creatingMagicItems.htm , for making permanent spell effects. For example, making a slotted protection from evil would cost 4000 gp, a unslotted would cost 8000 gp.

actually, if you would read back a few posts to my Monetary Requests - i have posted an amendment to my request similar to this… but as it seems nothing is getting done approval wise, the requests are just stacking up…

hmmm, so wait what are you requesting…?

To be able to 'invent' items using those rules - ie. +5 divine, luck bonuses to ac and +15 skill bonuses? (which would cost 62500 and 22500)

or purely just the no slot items? (as they are still items, such as earrings, anklets, chokers, pins, buttons, whatever…)
not a permanent spell effect like a permanent spell (which has to conform to a set list of spells)

Wouldn't this render item creation (by PCs) mostly useless?

PCs would still have to craft things, especially those over the limit.

There's just more items to craft.

As far as I was aware, anyone could craft custom items as they are described above.

The way the request is worded says that you would be able to buy those custom items from NPCs, which I won't approve.

No no, I was requesting to craft them, due to a recent event I thought they couldn't be, but I guess if they just can't be bought, thats understandable.

hmmm… maybe i miss-understood i thought any item not in the books needed requests…

as it should be otherwise the fighters will be running around with true-strike at will stuff and haste items that don't conform to the guide, because some items do not translate well into this chart…
