Okay, so here it is.
As discussed, we're going to be implementing a peer-run council system to handle administration, requests, disputes, major decisions, etc.
A 3 person council is ideal, but it would end up needing to favor one side or the other, and i say 'side' loosely because I consider us all a 'whole', or at least i'm optimistic that we'll all become a cohesive whole. Since this new effort is the combined workings of two discrete 'groups' becoming one, I think it's important to have equal representation.
So therefore I vote we move to 4 person council, with ties brought to chancellor Ashiel.
These are my picks and rationale for why:
Austin (Oustomia): For his focus on the story to keep things focused on the world and monitor the story world impacts
Benny (Oustomia): For his positive attitude, open mindedness, willingness to participate in discussion and fuel further questions and answers.
Conner (Heroes of Alvena): For his deep rooted focus on the rules, ability to back up things mathematically with statistics (he actually does this) and rules quotes. He's very much intellectual and down to earth.
Marisa (Heroes of Alvena): For her administration expertise, ability to work the wiki, manage people, adjudicate rules, and general assistance. She was also a previous councilor and administrator on Black Marches before in the past.
And then as the chancellor:
Ashiel: Because Ashiel. He's the most experienced and suitable for this position. He was also the head GM of Black Marches once upon a time, as well as head GM of his own persistent world "Heroes of Alvena". His experience and expertise is second to none.
In addition, each person I listed is mature, generally responsible, and experienced. I feel that they make excellent role-models for the community.
These are my votes. Please post your feedback, comments, and votes below. You can vote for anyone you want. Voting is simple! Just list the names of the people you want, trust, and believe will make good council members! You can list as many people as you want! After the voting period has ended we'll tally up the votes and go from there!
Thanks!
P.S. Voting will close on Midnight (PST), May 3rd.
