Hey guys, I'm relatively new to the D&D World (Living in a small town in the middle of no-where is not conducive to having D&D Games around), but I've played a bit/been ready to play a bit, but sometimes things on forums die.

I'm glad to have found this- I heard about Western Marches, but also that it had died a while back. It's great to have a world set up like that, with a community that you guys have here! I'll certainly be around for a while.

I've noticed throughout 3.5 and PF, that some of these Prestige classes have Special situations in order for your to pick them up as classes even after you make the necessary requirements. Does that mean players would have to make some sort of special request to the staff about a solo event to satisfy such requirements (I.e, Hellknight Commander/Enforcer must kill a devil of a higher HD in front of an official Hellknight), or are we perhaps SOL due to the setting?

Spell to Power Erudite vs Arcane Fusion

I am having quite a bit of confusion regarding certain tricks regarding Erudites. Most prominent is that of Arcane Fusion. Quoting relevant texts here:
Arcane Fusion
"When you cast this spell, choose any 1st-level sorcerer spell you know and any 4th-level or lower sorcerer spell you know.
Neither spell chosen can have a casting time longer than 1 standard action.
Both spells take effect in the order you choose, as if you had cast them one after the other using only one standard action, but you don't expend any additional spell slots to cast those spells."

Technically, a Spell to Power Erudite does not know spells.
" which allows you to attempt to convert an arcane spell into a power you can add to your repertoire."
"Because the spells are now effectively psionic powers"

So in regards to this, I envision three possible rulings.
1. Arcane Fusion is of no use to an Erudite.
2. An Erudite may use Arcane Fusion only for spells that are on the Sorcerer list at appropriate levels.
3. An Erudite may use Arcane Fusion for anything, such as psionic powers and non-sorcerer arcane spells (such as Glibness).

Now, assuming 2 or 3 is chosen, there is another issue. When Arcane Fusion applies the 1st level and 4th level spell, on a Sorcerer they would both deal standard damage as dictated by Caster Level. However, an Erudite must augment damage dealing things, and even other certain powers like Ego Whip or Dominate, Psionic would need to be augmented.
How does Arcane Fusion interact with augmenting?

An inquiry regarding rewards from the Inbetween Storyline events

At the conclusion of ep.6 of Inbetween, it was mentioned by one of the players that all gold and items rewarded would be pooled together and then dispersed equally among players that took part in the series .

I have a problem with this, simply because there are those who didn't appear in all of the missions (myself included) that would essentially be partaking in rewards they didn't help obtain (the GM of the storyline didn't care to do it either way but wants a unified decision among the players involved).

I had originally thought that most session games, any loot found was split among those present during the downtime. Can anyone clarify this or is it perhaps a preference dictated by the GMs themselves?

Given the issues players seem to have with my DMing.

1. AP, you only get 2 in my games. And they can't be used to save yourself from death. This means bring med kits and the like. Expect to help people when they go down. D&D is supposed to be a cooperative game meaning you need to help fellow teammates.
2. Expect things like Suggestion. You can be manipulated just as you could manipulate the enemy.
3. If you fail a save, you fail. I am not going to water anything down and make it a walk in the park for players.
4. I roll what I think the player shouldn't know in the GM tab. Don't like it, then don't play my games. I will do things like attack rolls, damage rolls, etc. in the main chat. But things like will saves go in the GM tab.
5. You can do one additional action from items per round. If you've already used an items that allows you to do an action you normally can't then you can't use any other item like that till the next round. This means things like Belt's of Battle.
6. I'm not going to handhold or baby. Some things will be easy, others might not be.
7. If you have any complaints during the game, then let me know in private. I will not respond if it's posted to the main chat.

Any comments feel free to leave them here.

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask, but here it goes.

Irthos is going to be lvl 9 (ecl 11) soon, and I was wondering what is the max level cohort he can have if he were to take the dragon cohort feat, seeing as his leadership score would allow lvl 8 char's as base + 3 lvl's more allowed from dragon cohort would technically allow a lvl 11 dragon cohort. Not completely sure what the maximum level dragon cohort he can actually take, because if the original rules were followed the feat would be useless, seeing as the base rules say that the cohort cannot be the same level as the PC themselves…

I once had an idea for a Clan-backstory based class that was kind of horrible but the concept was entertaining.

The Swallowed Ones
A strange semi-cult of treasure hunters and fanatics. They seek out the largest of monsters that usually have been the downfall of legendary figures (Party-killers) and attempt to retrieve the historical artifacts and magical items that tend to be… left behind. For them the story of "Old Man swallowed by the whale" wasn't a parable, it was their elder.

Due to their nature, the Swallowed One slowly gains Resistance to acid throughout their career starting at level 2 (culminating at Immunity much later).

The more fanatical and religious minded revere the Tarrasque as like to a God. The vast amount of epic or legendary equipment, items, armor, weapons, gems, metals, etc. that could survive it's stomach unable to be digested,

Lower levels are referred to as "Muckers" for their habit of sorting through monster droppings for anything that survived digestion. Think of the coins hapless halflings or kobolds may have had on them when swallowed whole. Luckily for them, and anyone they go near, the two starting abilities

"Breathless" (supernatural ability) : they no longer need to breathe except to smell or speak.
"Neutralize" (spell-like ability) : Cleans the Swallowed One, equipment, and all non-living material (treasure) they are holding of residual acid, smell, and filth. This can be used once per day with an additional use per day every five levels (6th, 11th, 16th, etc.).

At 4th level, the Swallowed Ones earn their name with a new ability -> "Gastronaut" : when being attacked by a creature more than 2 size categories greater using a bite attack they make a DC 20 reflex check to avoid all damage and be completely swallowed by the creature.

At 14th level they gain "Escape-hatch" (supernatural ability) 1/day. Usable only INSIDE a monster (dead or alive). This teleports them to 100ft past the physical sensory range of the creature they are escaping.

So I have a question about using the Profession skill to make money when I'm not in the midst of an adventure. The skill rolls say that it's one roll per week, and this site says one day between adventures equals 3days IG downtime. Who makes those rolls and when if I'm specifically looking to take advantage of that?

Secondly, what's living quarters look like in Dragonport or other local villages? How much would a house cost? Long-term rentals?

Are there any reputable banks or money-handlers where you can store your cash? (50gp/lb adds up quick)
