About Me:
I have been playing d&d since 1998. I started with second edition Planescape setting, and have moved on to 3.5/Pathfinder. Right now, I am more familiar with the Pathfinder rules, but you may sometimes find me defaulting to 2e mentality. After having a bad experience with 2 of my characters in the few games I didn't DM, I have since taken an optimization stance with my own characters. I want my characters to be competent, but not invincible.
Experience:
I have DM'd over 150 IRL games with multiple groups in the past 13 years. Most of my experience lies in the level 1-6 range. I am used to suboptimal PCs, so my games may seem easy to an optimizer. Easy does not necessarily mean not fun.
I am very familiar with running evil pc campaigns but it is not my preferred party type to dm for.
Opinions:
I believe in a tier 3 type game. The classes that make up these tiers mean I can run challenging but not impossible encounters without them seeming trivial. I also love e6 and only dm games under 7th level.
On being in the Black Marches Council
I have no desire to be in this organization due in part to my firm tier 3 only stance. If you feel that this is a good position, then by all means, let me know. Right now, half of the pcs are tier 3 and under(11-6-2011).
