Character Creation

ALLOWED MATERIAL

• All 3.0 and 3.5 Wotc books are allowed. Updated material supercedes older material. Setting specific material is refluffed appropriately. Some 3.0 Material will need to be updated to be used.
• All 3.0 and 3.5 Wotc Online contents are allowed. Updated material supercedes older material. Setting specific material is refluffed appropriately.
• All D20 Pathfinder SRD Online Material is allowed. Setting specific material is refluffed appropriately. Some Pathfinder material will need to be converted to 3.5 for use. 3.5 is the Primary source for any disagreements
• All Dreamscarred Press SRD Online Material is allowed.
• Hyperconscious: Explorations in Psionics 3rd Party Book is Allowed.
• Dragon Compendium 3rd Party Book is Allowed
• Rokugan 3rd Party Book is Allowed
• Dragonmech Campaign Setting 3rd Party Book is allowed
• All material from the Allowed Extras page. Homebrew and Material from Other sources is available by request. If approved, you must manually copy over the relevant information over to Allowed Extras to use it. You may request new material Here.

BASIC INFO

• Abilities are generated using 32 point buy, use this calculator to lay out your starting scores
• Characters begin at 1st level. (May change as player base levels)
• HP is maxed at first level, then a static gain afterward depending on your Hit dice: d4 hit die: 3 d6: 4 d8: 6 d10: 8 d12: 10
• Starting gold at 1st level for all character types is 200 gp.
• All characters receive a free Traveler's Outfit
• Implement the Black Marches House Rules as applicable, especially skills and feats
• Please create a character utilizing the character template example Here or directly edit and copy the Character Template and add it to the Characters page
• You must provide a picture
• All alignments are permitted
• Multiclassing XP Penalties and Mutliclassing Restrictions for the Monk and Paladin are removed
• Keep Track of your XP and GP gain and level up according to the XP Chart
• Level Adjustment must be abided by, including Pathfinder LA. Ask if you do not know how to calculate Pathfinder level adjustment.

MISCELLANEOUS

• Standard D&D Pantheon including gods from supplemental books.
• Action Points are in use.

GAINING XP, GP, ITEMS

• You must add to your character log every time you adventure, spend gold, etc. to reflect the changes to your personage and possessions, include a good description of what was done/accomplished for benefit of future DMs.

LEVEL ADJUSTMENT

• You may opt to gain LA for lower Point Buy. Please consult the table below.

• Thus, +LA races should start with zero LA, but use the point buy listed here.*
• Keep in mind the difference between LA and racial hit dice (the two combine to give starting ECL).*
