Athar Defiants

DESCRIPTION

On the front the group (also known as 'Cult of the Omniscient Eye', though such name is very rarely employed) may appear like another cult of the ideal of knowledge but, in certain circles, tis a no mystery that that Athars are exhibiting an outright disdain for the belief in the 'divine' as most know it.
According to what could be called (though it is not truly codified in any meaningful manner) 'Doctrine of the Great Unknown' all gods worshiped are mere impostors, 'just' incredibly powerful but still 'mortals' not safe from imperfections, being prone at times to surges of emotions and not truly safe from vices at all. They are lacking in 'true means' of affecting the multiverse as it is. The greatest folly is the assumption that the divine are so powerful that the might as well be considered omnipotent. A more than one demise of a deity, the graveyard of 'dead gods' drifting on the astral plane are even more of a reason that those with lesser degree of power had been deluded for ages.
In spite of such radical and truly unorthodox (the irony) views the cult has been more or less active in the city of doors but only in the academic circles where it is seen as more of an oddity than any actual danger.
