Granted Ability:

You gain any Illithid Heritage feat (Complete Psionic p61) or Aberrant feat (Lords of Madness p178) as a bonus feat.
You must still meet all the feat's prerequisites in order to take it.

Alternatively, if you are an aberration, you may gain Ability Focus or any racial feat as a bonus feat instead.
You must still meet all the requirements for a feat in order to take it.
